PureSuri herd is an excellent example of a superb breeding philosophy. The Armstrongs, formerly Latah Creek, dominated the suri show ring with, amongst others, their Inca line white suris and it was artistry in the making when the lines of Latah Creek and Pucara Kahuna were combined. The results were pure brilliance - literally! Lexus has grown out with exceptional density combined with fineness and who Pucara had used extensively since spending his first breeding season in 2015 in Colorado, one in which Lexus produced a Reserve National Champion with our Primrose of THR, a MEDIUM FAWN female! This showed us that not only can Lexus create stunning white offspring, but he allows color to come through as well, a game changer for colored breeding programs! Lexus shows off a stunning head on a well conformed frame but its the fleece that spanks of his royal lineage. It is exactly what we breed for. High luster, in fact luster to burn! It is fine and dense and displays nice independence of locking with that buttery greasy handle that we love to see in our program. In March 2014 he tested at 18.6m 3.9sd 20.9cv Sired by none other than the five times Futurity Light Herdsire of the Year Pucara Kahuna, his mother also comes from immaculate lineage. PureSuri Lexus is a daughter of one of the densest males Pucara had ever seen, LCA Viho (Inca son) and her dam is a Snowmass Ice Dancer daughter that is infused with the superior genetics of Uribe and Ganador. We have been impressed with the offspring from Lexus and are thrilled to add him to our herdsire lineup! His cria have had blazing luster with density that is so hard to achieve. .
